I see my own transition as a death
From one form to the next
I wish to transform
Golden and resplendent
But my former body will be cleaned
Repurposed in alchemical exchange
Memories of pain and oppression still remain
Unable and unwilling to change
Cruel fragments of thoughts and words escape the pills
